Hey guys the last 3 weeks my mother and father in law came to visit us out here in California. We had a great time as we hung out, watched Movies. ate out, and went to the Beach. Along with my inlaws, my wive’s two little nieces came along. It was really great.
As many of you know I am on a journey to learn more Spanish. My wife is hispanic and she is fluent in it. Her parent’s native tongue is Spanish so I got a real life tutorial with them here for the last 3 weeks.
Sometimes it is confusing being around them because they start to speak Spanglish. For those of you that dont know what Spanglish is , well it is speaking a mix of both English and Spanish. For instance, one sentence my mother- in- law would say in English and then when she raised her voice she threw in some Spanish. My father- in – law did the same thing. It sure makes your head spin around listening to this.
But I could comprehend part of it just not all of it all the time !! 
It is amazing when are around Spanish speaking people over a period of time you can start to catch on to things. But it is important that you have some sort of basic knowledge of this Language.
It doesnt hurt that I personally had 2 years of Spanish in High School. But then again that was over 25 years ago !!
If you cannot be around people speaking spanish on a regular basis then learning Online could be very beneficial for you. There are numerous online programs that can really jumpstart your education in learning the Spanish language. Just remember that learning the Spanish language is a lifetime endeavor for many people. So when you try to tackle this task be sure to have patience , patience, and more patience.
