In this lesson today we will show you how questions and rebuttals that you learned about in the previous lesson are written down.

Questions for Clarification Purposes
A lot of people really want and need to visualize with their eyes an actual word before they can consistently repeat and remember it.

¿Cómo se escribe? How’s it written?

If you are to fully comprehend the answer you will need to know the Spanish alphabet. This can get pretty trick at this Stage so it might be easier to ask,

Repite, por favor. Repeat, please.

Or it might be better if yiu asked,

Más despacio, por favor. More slowly, please.

People that you meet most of the time will be open to clarify what they just said to you so did not hesitate to ask !!

Introductions
Here is the conversation piece that you learned in the last lesson. A friend has just introduced me and Jen, telling her, “Te presento a mi amigo, Maurice” I like to introduce you to my friend, Maurice. I respond,

Maurice: Encantado.
Jen: El gusto es mío.
Mauriceo: ¿Cómo te llamas?
Jen: Me llamo Amy.
Maurice: ¿De dónde eres?
Jen: Soy de los Estados Unidos.
Maurice: Hablas español muy bien.
Jen: Solo un poco. Estoy aprendiendo.

This particlar conversation is a great practice and full of good questions. You are probably sure to run into this if you are ever visiting a spanish speaking country. Here is the conversation a second time, except in English.

Maurice: Delighted.
Jen: The pleasure is mine.
Maurice: What’s your name?
Jen: My name is Amy.
Maurice: Where are you from?
Jen: I am from the United States.
Maurice: You speak Spanish very well.
Jen: Only a little. I am learning.
