It is quite well known that Spanish is one of the most romantic languages in the World today. Here is a good tip for all you guys looking to impress your wives or girlfriends. First of all, you need to learn to speak spanish; at least a few phrases to start out with. Once you do this call that special ‘lovey dovey’ or do it face to face and spout out a few romantic phrases in Spanish. You would be surprised how much they like this. And you just might get a little lucky later on.:)

Si, tengo. Hemos estado saliendo por un ano which means; ‘Yes I do, we have been dating for a year ‘
Muy Bien of course means; ‘Very good ‘
Now think about to one of our earlier lessons about ‘family’. You will remember how I focused on the importance the family is in the Hispanic and Latino culture. I know personally my beautiful wife has a incredibly strong relationship with her parents and siblings as well as her extended family. This is something to admire about especially with so many broken families in our Country.

No. Estoy soltero. Pues, estoy separado means; ‘No, I’m single. Actually, I’m separated.’
Hace mucho tiempo, estaba divorciado means; ‘I was divorced a long time ago. ‘
¿Cuanto tiempo has estado casado? means; ‘How long have you been married for? ‘
He estado casado por diez anos means ; ‘ I’ve been married for 10 years.’
