Job ideas if you are bilingual and can speak Spanish and English

Here is a good piece of advice for those that know both Spanish and English. And this should be an inspiration for those that want to learn Spanish on top of their native English !!
You can go through the job section of your local newspaper and will more than likely always be able to find companies or individuals looking for Spanish translators. If you can learn to speak spanish thru spanish courses and learn spanish software you could get a job you thought you never could. Such as a postiion at the police department, fire department, housing authority department, and a large array of other public service programs and also the private sector.
The fact is there has always been a big need for translators and with the growing hispanic population this particular need is only going to be increasing for the next many years. Remember, these jobs are not just found in your local area but all over the United States of America.

Here is a thought for some of you really go getters out there who have an entrepreneurial spirit. You could start your own translating business. Here you would be able to get to pick and choose your own clients as well as setting your own hours. You can take some spanish courses that are found on the internet and be well on your way in acheiving this. Here is a good way to see the need for this service. GO look and check out all the signs up and the labelling of packages. Its a fact that they all come written with both Spanish and English directions. Buit many times they dont and your service would be of great benefit to others in trying to decipher the directions on these packages.

So as we have said before find a Spanish Program and Spanish course to learn to speak this beautiful language. Once you feel comfortable after a few months then you can start thinking about looking for a translation job !!
