Just going to touch a litle bit on the use of particular verbs in the Spanish Language. Its really important because verbs are used throughout ALL languages in basic communications.
Specifically, we will be concentrating on the regular -ar verbs. The other type of verbs called irregular verbs are a little more complex and I will cover them at a later time.
For right now when you learn to speak spanish on a basic level its best to learn these type of verbs.

First in order to really understand the conjugation of verbs lets first define the “infinitive” form. The infinitive form of a verb that stays the same during a conjugation. An example in English form would be “to talk”. Talk, talking, talked all contain “talk” . So it is evident that this is the infinitive form.

Let’s use an example in Spanish to make it clear to you:

1.Hablar – To talk

Yo hablo – I talk

Tu hablas – You talk

El habla means – He talks

Now can you see how this verb ‘hablar’ changes depending on the circumstance it is used ?? . Keep saying it out loud until it clicks for you and then you will see this.

These rules are applicable to any verb that happens to end in ‘ar’.. Now pay detailed attention to what occurs to the -ar part of hablar, with each conjugation.

Yo — Hablo

Tu — Hablas

El — Habla

Nosotros — Hablamos

Vosotros — Hablais

Ellos —–> Hablan

Now that was so simple, wasn’t it ?? With the above rule , you now have the necessary info. to conjugate any verbs you come across that end in ‘ar’.

I hope this gives you a little insight in how to use basic forms of verbs in speaking spanish. Remember, when you learn to speak spanish it takes a little time and effort . But in the long run learning how to speak spanish will pay in dividends as it will open up new opportunities in your life.
